Aloha All! Just got a used 09 Ruckus last week and wanted to give an easy solution for anyone who is not great with modd-ing. I am 6'3, 220 and have an 09 Ruckus. The seat was killing by butt and my legs were getting cramped. I read all the threads on what to do and got ready to do one, but then tried something. I have an old Vespa 98, Et2 with a seat that broke off, so I thought... lets see how it feels on top of my current seat. Well, I road it around the block and LOVED it. It was much more comfortable and did not look too bad. So, I bought 3ft black zip tie from the hardware store and then zipped it on and BAM, I added like 4 inches in height and then 6 inches in more seat to extend. All for $6.00. So, for all you who are like me who is not the best in doing DIY and want a simple solution, here you go! Might not be the prettiest, but it works for me and is comfortable!! ALOHA!

Ha, ha, sometimes form outweighs function. Besides, you could always make a cover for the whole shebang.

It is not pretty, but I am a 33 married guy with twin girls and a wife, thus my days of trying to have things that a pretty a way gone. Now it is just about having COMFORTABLE FUN on the RUCK! Long rides on Oahu when the babies are crying.
Soon, I will experiment with some more Mods and I want to thank you all for you expertise on all these subjects and threads. Rock on! ;D

i did something on the same lines. i took the seat from my cbr929 and removed the seat frame. two bolts and 1 spacer and voila. i still need to add some support to the front of the seat though. it may not have added much leg room though, and it's a lot more uncomfortable during a long ride.

"NICE RUCKUS"......but I used to hate my CBR929RR seat.......

i was riding my ruck home tonight and sat far back on the rear hand grip for fun. i had a posture similar to that and thought it was pretty relaxed. I like your seat. it gives the bike a more stretched out look without stretching it. i may have to figure out something like that
