Hey, New to this site.
I have two questions for my 08 ruckus.
1. Is there a good carb cleaner for the ruckus?
2. how offen should I do it?
Thanks

1. Compressed air or jet removal 2. Beginning and end of riding season.

I only use carb cleaner if I'm having a problem. I don't use anything normally but I use fuel stabilizer if I'm putting it away for the winter. I let it run for a few minutes after I add the stabilizer to get it into the carb and then I'm usually good to go. If something does gum up, then I crack open the carb and use some aerosol carb cleaner to dissolve the crud.

I dunno, I took a spell where I'd put a capful of carb cleaner in every fill-up. But I felt as if she started to run worse, so I put a stop to that.

Yep, with the additives in today's gas, carb cleaner is unnecessary. It is, as the name implies, a "cleaner".....it doesn't burn, so it can be hard on piston tops,. etc. if used frequently. Like Dan said, stabilizers if Ya' park em' (gives me a rash thinkin' about parkin' a bike...... ), gasoline treatment if Ya' get a little water, but I would be very careful about using carb cleaners, especially on such a small engine.......... ;D
