1. Remove wheel 2. Knock bearings out 3. Install new bearings 4 Installation is reverse of removal

Im not hatin, The book says to basically knock em out...
Book says on page 14-8 1. Remove dust seal 2. Install the bearing remover head into the bearing. From the opposite side of the wheel, install the bearing remover shaft and the drive the bearing out the wheel hub. Remove the distance collar and drive out the other bearing. 3. Pack the new bearing cavities with grease. 4. Drive the new left bearing (brake drum side) squarely with the sealed side facing up until it is fully seated. 5. Install the distance collar. 6. Drive a new right bearing squarely with the sealed side facing up until it is fully seated using special tools. 7. Grease the new dust seal lips and install til flush with wheel hub.
The way the book seems to explain it like a flywheel pilot bearing... use a slide hammer to pull one side out, then remove the collar, then beat the other one out. To install tap the drum side in, install the collar, then tap the other bearing in.
Hince why I said knock em out and beat em in... I guess I should have mentioned the slide hammer idea for one side instead of just "knock em out"... My apologies...

I got them. HEAT!!
Heat the outer shell around where the brakes go and they tap out pretty easy.
It was even easier for me because my other side bearing was bad, so I jammed a hole in it and smacked out the other side.
But heating it is the way to go.
I had to do this on my sons yz85 in the past, just forgot.
Thanks.

WHAT? ?? If ya heat it too much and it doesn't cool evenly, the drum could warp causing your front wheel to pulse during braking... Heat is bad idea imho

DAMN!!
Not that much heat. I just used a heat gun to warm it. It starts melting the grease and it slides right out.
