Does anyone know if the aftermarket Kevlar drive belts for a Zuma are the same size as a Ruckus drive belt, or if they make an aftermarket kevlar belt for the Ruckus? Do these belts give any perfomance increases along with lasting longer?

Good question. I don't know if the lengths are the same but I am pretty sure you won't notice a performance increase. The idea behind a Kevlar belt is that it wears slower so obviously it lasts longer. This becomes more important when you do mods like a stiffer spring (the big one) in the rear clutch ( a stiffer spring like this pinches the belt harder and wears it faster but it does help you get geared lower, quicker when you coast for a bit and then twist the gas.) It'd be nice to have just cuz they're cool and they last longer.
If it does fit where have you seen Kevlar Zuma belts and how much are they?

I know that Kitaco makes a belt for the Ruckus. I saw one about two years ago. Where to get one now..... I don't know.

There's gotta be only a few standards sizes. Some one should go into a shop where they sell em and measure it. We need to know the width and the length. It'd be great to have a source. Japan has so much awesome stuff that we need to get a hold of.

I saw a kevlar belt for a Zuma and it was $39.00 U.S. Dollars and the belt claims "improved geometry that will increase acceleration and top speed"
