Oh noooooo. My hubby and I came home from our date last night to a dog (the real cute one I have for my avitar) STINKIN' like skunk. My head hurts. He had to go out last night for tomato juice. He stopped back at the bar for a shot before having to wash the dog, and one of the other bartenders is also a groomer, so she ran home and got him a bottle of skunk off. We doused her with the skunk off, and left her out for the night. This morning we could see the yellow spots where she got hit. So we gave her the juice bath, then washed her down with head and shoulders. She still smells, and my headache is getting worse. To top it off, hubby just left with the kids until tomorrow, and I'm stuck with the stinkin dog . I have to go to work, and I probably stink too. My customers are either going to think I've had a run in with a skunk, or I'm smokin some kind bud (maybe a little of both). WHEN does a dog learn to stay away from skunks??!! She's nearly 11 yo, and has had a few run-ins over the years. You would think she would learn Anyway, since this is the forum to talk about anything, I just needed to get this bitching out. If you made it this far (your probably laughing at me), but thanks for letting me gripe. lol Oh, and she got sprayed right over by my ruckus. I can only imagine how that smells

That sucks. I was riding with a friend one night when we met a skunk. The skunk was crossing a dark road and ran into the side of my friends '81 NC50. I heard her scream in front of me and then I smelled it. She said that her boot hit its head. I think the skunk was okay though. Her NC50 tops out at 25mph.
