PLEASE forgive me if there is another post for this info on here, but I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for I'm in the city (Chicago) and in a relatively high crime area (for theft/vandalism, anyway) and would love some feedback.... How do you secure your Ruckus? What lock(s) do you use? What alarm(s) do you use? Where do you park? Any other steps to take in making sure your Ruck is theft "proof"? Best products (locks/alarms etc)? Thanks everyone

i bought a chain and lock, but haven't used it in a couple years.
even when i park at the train station, i don't chain it up. i just simply lock the handlebars with the ignition lock and that's it.
i drive all over town daily on the ruckus and don't get concerned as to where it's parked.
i have insurance and that's all i care about.

If you live in a rough area and want to fight the criminals, a motorcycle alarm is great, just be ready with the baseball bat and the piece of chain If you just want to make their live harder, a forgetaboutit chain lock is best Parking in a well lit place is also a good idea

Ahhh yes...I forgot to mention that (of course) I have my insurance quote ready and waiting to be put into action after I pick up the Ruck! I'm picking up the New York Fahgettaboudit with the New York D-Lock (and possibly an extra NY D-Lock...we'll see), an Audiovox alarm. Anyone know the best way to use the Kryp. chain along with the D-Lock? I'll keep the baseball bat in mind too Thanks ya'll!

One huge dog... make sure you chain the Ruckus to a tree or pole first... or your bike and dog will run off with the mail-man... lol
