Well, after the most insane couple of weeks (financialy) everything got sorted out and the bank BOZOS finaly got my accounts straightened out. So I had a couple of deals fall through because the promised checks never showed when the bozos said that they would. Long story shortened... My accounts freed up this morning. I woke up to my bank managers' voice on the answering machine. I jumped out of bed, Grabbed the keys and broke every local speed limit on my way to the bank. Withdrew the cash and drove 2 hours (each way) barely making it to the dealer before they closed early for the day? I decided on the White camo cause it was the same price as the black (I felt like I was getting away with something ) Got her home around 8:00PM. I just now (12:00 am) decided to stop riding cause the tornado sirens were going off. I Know now. I haven't stopped smiling since I pulled out of the dealers driveway.

I just got my New showa shock, white 310, from the Battle scooter store. (Thanks alot Jason) But I'm having a hell of a time getting it bolted on. I'm no mechanical genius but I'm hardly the Idiot that this shock it making me feel like.
I've got the air box off and the underseat storage deck up enough to see what I'm doing. Then the problems started...
I positioned the shock so that everything lined upon the bottom. I then put the bolt (that came with the shock) in and started tightening. Everything is going fine until I get to the last 1/4 inch when it starts to turn real easily. It won't tighten all the way down and now I can't back it out either. It didn't grind and never felt like it was stripping.
So I figure that I can't do anything about that until later anyway and I go ahead and try to bolt the top into place. No dice. No matter how hard I try I cant get the hole in the top to line up with the bracket. The more I look at it I start to realize that the bottom part of the right side of the frame bracket is catching on the top rung of the spring on the shock. There just doesn't appear to be enough clearence.
SO, Does anyone have any ideas? Has anyone encountered this sort of problem? Should I just get the dremmel out and start grinding? HELP!

Real bummer, I've had mine for 4 weeks tomorrow. I have been going crazy with accessories and planning it out, and of course riding it like it's stolen. It's so much fun. I got lucky twice and went to the dealership and came out with 3 scoots. The honda card is great. It only took about 2-3 hours of waiting before I could take em home. Hackers suck.
