how about a package for Carb Main Jet Kit, CDI boost box, variator, & weights.
that would be bad "edit profanity".

Definately would be. There's been talk about packages before and a lot of people think they're a good idea. The problem I think is that abe has to pay quite a bit of $$$ for the parts so to keep prices reasonable he doesn't have a big profit margin. If he starts giving futher discounts he wouldn't make much at all. With that said I do agree they should have them. I'm thing a Stage I, Stage II and Stage III power mods packages would be great. Stage I could be roller weights and a carb jet kit so you could improve your variator and open the stock box thus increasing power for like 30$. Stage II could be the aftermarket variator, weights, CDI, Pod filter (or another one for extra $$$) and jets (300$ish) Stage III could be stage II plus the H.O. cam and maybe a pipe. You'd be up close to a grand for this one if the pipe was included. Then there could be the Stage IV kit which is the one we all dream about having but it doesn't really exist and that one would include Stage III plus you sending your engine to abe for a port/polishing and a 70cc bore kit and it would come with a 20mm carb. You could be at 60mph with this hog I bet. Do you think there'd be enough takers for a bore kit? I thought abe was working on one but I'm not sure.
Even if there was only like a 2% discount it'd still be cool cuz you could be like I have a Stage III Ruckus! Oh and even cooler would be if he got decals made up that only came with the kits so you could brag. Imagine getting passed on the highway by my silver/black Stage IV Ruckus with Stage IV RR decals taunting you.

I believe the plating on the Ruckus cylinder will not allow you to bore it out, and even if you could I also believe it uses a custom piston and if so you could not buy one over the stock bore.

I think abe was working on a custom piston especially for a bored out Ruckus (see thread 'big bore kit'). There is plating which would make the boring difficult but not impossible and there are shops that could do the replating. It wouldn't be cheap or easy but it is possible.

I understand there are reasons why a big bore kit hasn't been made for the Ruckus. Could someone (Chanito) list ALL the reasons that one hasn't been made yet? I heard that there isnt much metal to bore out. Is this true?

When I installed the cam I had a look at things (and there's a good pic on battlescooter.com) there isn't that much but my rough guess would be a 60cc is possible.

Yeah! Dandydan is right, a 60cc is possible, but beside gettin the little piston specially made, there is the problem of rings (that is really the expensive part) obvioully having to bore out the cyl and recoat it (the wall of the cyl have a coat to make it more resistant to wear), and then we are home free, i know some people in Europe should be coming with something like that within a year, so maybe your prayers would be answered, but with the experience of the front forks, i am scare of the price already
