I'm still hoping for the big bore kit but I'm not sure if there's one coming. A while back it kinda sounded like he was working on one but I'm not sure. It'd be nice if they cleared up whether a kit was coming or not so we could either save our pennies or start dealing with the disappointment. I'd way prefer a big bore kit to an engine swap because our little engine is so high tech it'd be a shame to ditch it plus there's no way you can make an engine swap not look wierd. There's no 125cc engine that comfortably fits in. When abe had the 150cc engine in there it ran good but it looked like a frankenstein.

Why don't you want the cam? Anyways, Abe did say he was working on one:
Abe on March 8th: "We'll have pistons soon. If anyone wants one get on the list. Just Email."
Abe on March 15th: "We are slowly working on the piston. I really don't think it's a big rush. No one has sent us a motor to do the big bore. Keep your pants on and save your money"
Tell him if you're interested people!
Abe on March 25th: "Just keep your eye on the store. We have tons of stuff we need to post on it before the piston."
Again, let him know you're interested. I don't mean overwhelm him with spam but if you are serious about this mod email him and let him know.
For what it's worth here's my guess for a bore kit cost: Piston: 250$ Rings: 50$ Bored Out: 150$ Replated: 100$ Assembly etc. 150$ Total: 700$ US plus you may want it heavily ported at the same time (add 150$ ish) to maximize you're power.
Basically for a maxed out Ruckus the minimum you're gonna spend is: 140$ CDI 15$ Jet Kit 10$ Roller weights (keep 3 stockers) 170$ Cam (plus install) 700$ Bore Kit (total guess) 150$ Port/Polish = 1185$ minimum and maybe 60mph max (depending on bore size) likely 55mph. You could blow up to another 230$ on a fancy intake and 80$ on a variator.

I dont think that would work, the ruckus cylinder is the same piece as the case, it doesnt detach like most. When I saw the reply I was like "YES" but I dont think it will work. I got my 4 wheeler bored 40 cc over and nikasil plated for $180.00, and the Wisco hi compression piston kit and gaskets where $160.00 thats all I needed and did the work myself so I figure the Ruckus wont be more than that.

The nsr50 is a two-stroke single with a six-speed.
