I like my Ruckus the way it is. Do you want a Ruckus with enough power to drive itself up hills comfortably, or do you want a Ruckus that will do 55-60 mph?

i want a ruck that can go up hills without drop of power and i wouldnt mind goin 55-60 either. my friends friend did a big bore in his metro and with a polini variater did like 50 so that would be nice big bore is like half of gy6 swap so im leaning towards big bore

yea just got done talkin to local dealer n service for scooters i asked about tuning and exhaust prices and it came upto 300 for just intake pod filter uni pod filter for pcv jets rejet and tune and buying exhaust from them would cost 300!!! thats just basic bolt ons!!! SHIET i might as well buy chanito's big bore kit for that with jets purchased and let them put it in for another 350 thats boreing it out assemble rejet and tune. then later on i can look for a cheap exhaust what u guys think?

I have yet to find an exhaust that can outperform the stock unit, there is a lot that are louder and look a lot nicer but not 300 worth of performance in my opinion THIS IS MY OPINION, and it is probably not as objective as it should be, because i sell the big bore kit. Installing a bigger engine like the GY6 is kind of installing an American v-8 on your integra, it will be faster and meaner but it will no longer be an integra as the most important part has been remove, the stock engine on the ruckus is a technological marvel and the charging/starting system is state of the art, GY6 is an old abandon technology engine that is made cheaply now in China and that makes the engines easy to find with a lot of aftermarket parts for it, but obviously it has 3 times the displacement and about twice the power, with about 1/5 the charging capacity, so if you want raw power that is your engine, Doing a big bore is just making your engine run a bigger piston, so for about a 20% displacement increase you get 25% more power and get to keep all the hi tech stuff plus it will still be a Honda ruckus

Why have a Ruckus then make it not a Ruckus?

Too many Other Scooters out there now like the PCX125 to "rationally" spend what it costs for a GY6 Conversion....the PCX will still "eat it", and handle so much better in twisties that You can't stay in sight of one.....BIG BORE I can see....the "Other" Alternative seems "Pricely Outdated".....just "My Opinion".....
