Very nice Phred. Take a profile so we can see what it looks like from the side. Personaly though, I still like Chanito's custom design better, it seems to maintain the look and attidue of the Ruckus a little better. Just my personal opinion though. ;D

Still messin with the positioning trying to get it up as high as possible. Every bike I've ever owned has had a windshield to duck behind. The Chanito-Shield is a work of art but I feel a need to divert the air higher up around my fat torso and head. Right now I have the beefy drive edge on the bottom wedged up against the speedo. Prior to this position I did experience a little waving but no vibration. You wanna talk vibration, the fork mounted shield my 94 Harley bagger would buzz back and forth about an inch @ idle. I've always prefered frame mounts on big bikes due to handing issues @ speed in on windy days. With size and speed limitations of our scoots this is a moot point. I'm quite suprised how much this little shield diverts wind around me. Now I gotta figure out how to get my butt down close to the rear fender and really slice the air. Ridin without the seat & frame gets you fun. The bars feel like ape hangers but ya need something to keep your butt from slidin forward. Hope to fashion a teardrop solo bucket on there somehow.

I like the shape of the screen but I'd want it as low as possible. I think it looks kinda wierd to have a big gap between the lights and the screen.

"I think it looks kinda wierd to have a big gap between the lights and the screen." Much like the Air Horns, I didn't mount a windshield as a fashion statement. I ride for the economy and the fun of it. If cared about looks I'd of kept my Harley or chromed up my Goldwing. I'm gonna keep the shield where it serves my comfort and speed best. Lets face it, any grown man on Ruckus looky pretty dorky I enjoy the smiles I get from onlookers. Only we who ride know what they're missing. Kinna wierd, mostly just plain fun!! ;D
