honda today 50 australian af61 aircooled scooter
just installed the takegawa cam into my scooter which has got, 94cc kit, 54% gear, big carb, delta clutch, kevlar belt, kitaco varaitor, opened up airbox and custom exhaust.
since installing the cam, when it's warm, there is a ticking type of sound on high mid to full throttle , it doesn't keep in time with revs, almost sound like a pebble in a tin can, i thought it might be pinging, so i upped the jet from a 87 to a 90, which didn't seem to fix it, it's going really hard and the sound only comes in after warming up, it also does not happen all the time???
any ideas, i spoke to one of my mechanic friends and he heard the sound by locking on the brakes and reving, he seems to think it is a metal sound, but not a bearing, maybe something vibrating or rubbing?
