Hello all, I just got my 2008 Ruckus 2 weeks ago and love it for getting around the city. My question is if running it at full throttle a good deal of the time is OK for the engine? It's running great now but will this have adverse affects later.

yea, i run full throttle most of the time on the road with my ruck but when it was new i tryed not to go over half throttle. till it broke in.but it has a rev limiter so its not like it will blow up on you. i have 4,025 and i run full throttle all the time now. and my bike has never had a problem.

During the break-in period, you should never run it at a constant throttle for extended periods of time. But after about 100 miles or so, I don't think many people run at less than full throttle.
