You guys didn't tell me, other than a shim, that I'd have to shave off some of the bracket to mount the shock... I took pictures but it doesn't do it justice. I'll post them later on in the week.
The new shock is nice, though. ;D

No shaving, shimming or grinding: the 270mm chrome shock from Battlescooterstore fit perfectly without any mods

Ditto, mounting holes matched stocker, no sleeve or hacking required. ;D

I found the weld on the top bracket was a bit proud and I had to grind it down a bit. 2 minutes with the angle grinder and it was fine!

Ya, I don't have an angle grinder. I had to use a drill as a file. Fun.
