My mirrors fogged so much this morning that I couldn't see anything. Any suggestions for what to use to prevent fogging without hurting the surface?

Chanito knows!
Rain-X makes a defogger you apply to the inside of your windshield of your car, I'm certain it works with mirrors, too.

Yea that stuff is good, both kinds, rain, or the fog. I use to have a 1988 VW cabrolet, and the windsheild wippers, did not work, so I used rain X on the windsheild, so the water would bead off. Or you could put car wax, on it as well, only to bead the water, though wax will not help with fog....Ohh yea for everyone that rides in the snow, does your helmet fog up? I was just wondering, cause you could also probly try anti fog, for snorkaling gear. Its like $3.00 and it comes in a little viel, but im sure, its the same as rain X ,,,,,,,,,,chris

On the subject of the car windshield, just make sure you clean it before you put rain-x on it... or else, them bug guts ain't ever comin' off. Doh!

Rain-X...why didn't I think of that...maybe my brain was rectally impacted. Thanks for the suggestion. I found windshield washer fluid by Rain-X at the local auto store...and it was on sale. I tried it over the weekend. Of course, now the temps are warmer...at least the mirrors are clean.
