Thinking of relocating, out of Hawaii, There is to much darn vog here in kona lately, I cant breath. Anyway, I dont want to move back to california, its way to stricked there. And in oregon, you dont have to have inserance or a license to drive a ruckus I think. Anyway whoever live in oregon, hit me up tell me how it is there. Pretty chill?

There is no more sun. The volcano is erropting hella right now, and they are prodicting its just going to get worse, so there is only a clear day everyonce in awhile. And I would never leave intirelly I would have to come here at least 3 months out of the year for work. But, who knows I hate the flight so will see. I dont know Im also kinda disapointed, that there is not more camping available here in Hawaii. I mean only very few spots and they suck. And if you try to camp in a non disagnated area they give you a ticket. Well me and my wife love to load are honda ruckus up to the max and go camp for a few days its really fun. But latley I have been haveing to break fedaral and state laws to do so. Thats lam. They are also starting to lock all the beaches, no later than 7.00pm that means if you dont leave you and your car get locked in for the night. That is rediculous. And I have almost resorted to geting a bolt cutter. But Im not that mean. But I have spent over 2 hours removeing lava rock from around gates so I could get home on my ruckus. As sometimes the sun doesnot go down intil past 7.00pm so if it is a 3 mile dirt road, you have to leave at 6.00pm in order to make it to the gate intime so they dont lock you in. I wish I had a truck with a tow bar. The people have voted here that the land near the surrounding ocean be public to all. Meaning If you are a millionar and own a house on the beach, anyone, including me, other hipps, or anyone could walk between your house and go to the surrounding water. Makeing pravicy a thing of the past. Witch, im not rich so I love it I will go drink beer right in from of you million dallor house because YOU CANT CONTROL OCEAN LAND well atleast in hawaii. So if this is the case why do they lock the gates at night. I know they have parties and suck. But I dont care Im more willing to hire more police to potrol the area at night, so you could still be there 24 7, cause I mean people distroy the gates everyday. Thats so much money to fix, with the money they spent on gateing the place up, they could have hired a newbey to the police force to go inforce the law, instead, of locking all the beaches at night. WHERE DO ALL THE HOMELESS SLEEP ANYMORE? Cause not only do you have to move you car out if you are cought out there you can get a ticket. Although it usllay never happeins, but it could........................chris,,,,,,,,,,ohh yea, and im really scared there is going to be a nether major earthquake here as I am in the town where the earthquake was I think like a 6.7 on the Richter scale, and a 6.0 aftershock. So when that happeins you better get to high ground as earthquakes can cause a Tsunami.

And I think that the only other island I would live on is probly Kauai because it is the oldest and island and extremly beautiful, Cause the beaches are sandy, cause they have had way more time for the water to go back and for to make a sandy beach, as here where im at its a FAT rock, there is only a few sandy areas and they are very small. Not like most people would think, they think when the go to the main island hawaii that there is going to be mile long beaches, nah........its warm, and clear water. and there is a few sandy spots but most of where sand is the state has brote it in with trucks. So Yea Kauai would be a good place but Its hella expensive. As thats where everyone who is rich lives. Oahu would be lam it would be just like liveing in florida, good to visit not to live..........at least I think

Coos Bay sucks donkey nuts! Almost as bad as Brookings... So much cold, windy, wet, rusting, coastal weather... Move to Portland or Ashland because just about everything else in Oregon is no-so-beuno... And if you go Ashland-- look me up and give a shout.

shame that living in kona is not for you anymore, its weird you should say kauai as thats where i went oct'06, and it was the most amazing place i ever been or could imagine to be,i got there in the evening ad found my condo and woke up to this i thought this is going to be good! i did over 400 miles in 1 week on that island and could'nt get enough of it,i had to see everything. when i close my business down or sell it on ,i'm thinking of staying there for around 6 months before i make a career change, just want to get a simple/resturant bar job ,rent a room, learn to surf, crate my zoomer out there for the period and live the dream for a while. not sure if i could live there forever,as its a small island and will in reality not have so much to offer in terms of different opportunities of places to go,so i may get bored, who knows? is it a feasable thing for me to do as a non -us citizen euro?or will i just get no end of paperwork and fee's trying to do it. sorry if i hijacked your thread to ask,but nobody here in the uk can help..

Nah, thats a cool pic, yea I have been here going over 3 years now, and its great, but its kinda small, and Im geting island fever. Cause I mean I want to leave but I have to pick a place cause Its going to be like a year before a can afford to leave after I picked my place to live. Cause when I get there, instead of shipping my ruckus, I will probly just buy 2 new ones, as mine are not hella tricked out, and I know a few girls around town that could use them. I know they have like mabe a rack you could put on like a honda accord or civic, so that you sould carry like two small bikes, more for like dirt bikes, but I could use them for the ruckus's. Cause I also miss haveing a car, cause you dont need one where I live, and I think its to expensive, to just have a car for fun right now. But anyways will see, I havent been back to mainland since I have been here so Im kind stocked to be on actuall LAND..........chris

Stump town is way sick. Close to mountains, lakes, rivers, and even the ocean. A bit of ride to get to the ocean, but I plan on trying it in a couple months. Crazy fun in the city too. We got it all.

I think a lot of it cold be done US26 because, as I recall, the speed limit is often only 35 or 40. I have to look deeper into it.
