8-)There is a spot that the aftermarket CDI (Daytona) fits into conveniently. All you need is the foam pad which comes with the CDI and an old piece of inner tube (or other thin resilient padding). The CDI just barely slips into the pocket made by the bracket / mount for the original CDI and the steering head. There is a portion of the original CDI bracket that will act as a stop in the down direction, so you just push it into place with the padding on each side of it.

Nice fit! I debated over where to put mine, but I ended up just sticking it on the frame with some permacel (super-sticky double-sided tape).
Have you see the custom zoomers with the guages in the battery box?

Great tip! I moved mine cuz I was in there anyways. It was a tight squeeze to get it in there...you really gotta come in from the right angle but once it's in it's pure gold!
