I really like it. It has more features and seems like the workmanship is better than the Ruckus. The brakes are GREAT, they grab like they’re hydraulic. 100 % better then my spongy Ruckus brakes. The suspension is better. Better MPG, Is more comfortable than the (stock) Ruckus. And the engine kicks butt over my (stock) Ruckus. (Fuel injected) Nicer controls, gas gage, and the key fits better, Also is faster then my (stock) Ruckus. all that sounds like your ruckus is not up to speed on the maintenance. according to other people who've tested brand-new ruckus and c-3 together, c-3 is slower with lower top speed than ruckus. your brakes - try adjusting them, that's one of the most common mistakes ("oh "edit profanity", my brakes are messed up" "well, just adjust them, they'll be like new ). but, the suspension might be in fact better than Ruckus'. i think, Ruckus had the worst suspension, second to none, not even to chinese bicycles for $100.

I figured my comparisons might spin someone up, but I am sticking with my opinions. Sorry. Most of the things I pointed out like controls, fuel injected and the ignition have nothing to do with maintenance. BTW. My vehicles are well maintained !! I know these scooter brakes sure are complicated Maybe someday I can figure out how to adjust them?? I bought my Ruckus because Honda makes a good product, looks, and all the add-ons available. Also with the Ruckus, We are able to make some changes that will make it fit better (being 6'1") or look unique unlike other scooters. I think no one here can honesty say that they wouldn’t want Honda to make a few improvements. Just my 2 cents,

Go for an A- bomb! Add an extra 4" of legroom - absolutely a must for anyone over 6'.

Yeah, it’s not as cool as the Ruck, but I am impressed with it. I rode it to work today. The temperature was 35 degrees F in the morning, the windshield was great. I like it way better then the Zuma’s. If I wanted to buy a scooter, and do nothing but commute back a forth to work, the C3 might be my first choice. Also the A- bomb kit looks like the fix. Great Idea ! Need to think of a good way to fill the gap in the floorboard. peace

Hey Ruckdork, I'm in Allen Park. Ecorse and Allen Road area. I ride mine all over the frigin place, actually bought it from Rosenau Powersports.
Gotta get together and ride sometime, my Wife has one too. My 14 year old son thinks I'm a dork too, but he aint paying for gas. Hit me up with a PM sometime and we'll get some sliders and go for a ride.

Well I finally got around to adding an extension kit. The install went smooth but timely. One thing I forgot about was removing the coolant reservoir overflow tube causing me to almost dump the ruckus The ride is much better, smoooth! peace

I made a couple more small mods to the Ruckus. I wired a plug to the battery and have it sticking out the cover. Now I can plug in the battery tender easier. Also I made a quick clip-on ghetto fender that I use when it's raining. Before After peace

Added a few things to the Ruckus. I think that is it for a while. Forks Stem and Bars RPM gauge. (thx to Chanito and DRC) And Polini variator. I tried the met rollers, now I have a mix. Still looking for what works best for me, besides loosing 30 lbs. Also got around to changing the valve shims. They were both a little off. peace.
