Those are some nice foot pegs. I think I'm going to buy some for my ruckus. Where did you buy them?

Hey Alex, I bought them on ebay. Here is a listing number for them. 170135897485 Pretty cheep huh You will need to do a little work to them to mount them properly. I had to cut the threaded studs shorter and thread the stud down further. They had an odd size thread, a m10 fine thread I think. Then I used stainless fender washers and a stainless nut as a spacer to move the peg outward a little. Also the rubber on them wanted to twist and slide off. So I drilled and tapped a small hole in the ends to mount a screw in them. Works great holding the rubber on. All in all I am happy with the way they turned out, I like how they will fold up and out of the way. peace!!

Here's a couple pictures of myself and some coworkers. (TUFF HUH?) The two Yamaha's are 08 Zuma's. Believe it or not, my stock Ruckus is faster, not from the start, but more top end. Same results with the Etons. This has some of them talking about big bore kits. It's all good fun tho, starting a new scooter trend around here at work. Peace

nice pics! those yammy's are heavily restricted so there's a lot of stuff I'd do to them before a big bore kit.

Yeah, I read that you can remove a washer on the Variator or somewhere that will increase the top end of the Zuma's. But I will never them that.

Great idea cutting down the brackets and powder coating them - looks good. Can that bag be bought anywhere?

I did a few mods over the last couple months. I stiffened the front forks, added some boppers and a front fender. I also chopped up the seat frame and moved everything back 3-4 inches while keeping the stock seat height. It came out great !! little more leg room !! I still need to clean up a few welds and get it powder coated. Time to ride, peace

Wow! Great work...I'm loving the new front fender bigtime! It goes with your chop job on the rear super nicely. Also the seatframe mod looks very well done....that's a clever idea I haven't seen before

Here is my finished seat mod Gives me the leg room I wanted without lifting or lowering the seat position. BTW, there are two more scooter riders at my work ( Zuma and Vento) for a total off eight of us. Most of them have pipes and have been deregulated. So I am the slowest of them At least I beat them in gas mileage and looks. One more guy at work is looking at a C3. I will post a group photo when I can get us all together. ( A bunch of DORKS ) ;D Peace

Check it out I found this for sale in the neighborhood, and bought it for my father in law as a gift, since he would never pull the trigger himself. I really like it. It has more features and seems like the workmanship is better than the Ruckus. The brakes are GREAT, they grab like they’re hydraulic. 100 % better then my spongy Ruckus brakes. The suspension is better. Better MPG, Is more comfortable than the (stock) Ruckus. And the engine kicks butt over my (stock) Ruckus. (Fuel injected) Nicer controls, gas gage, and the key fits better, Also is faster then my (stock) Ruckus. Not that I am unhappy with my Ruckus. It still has the cool factor and mods, but Honda needs to upgrade a few things. BTW, pops loves his scoot. Peace.
