Greetings all! Yes, I'm baaaack. My Ruckus now has 18,000 miles on it and still running well. My wife FINALLY got brave and took it for a ride. Naturally, she had a big smile on her face when she got off the Ruckus. "That was fun, I want one!" But she like the look of the Metro. Chanito, I know your wife has a Metro, does she like it? Would you do it again or get another Ruckus? I can get a 2006 Silver Camo Ruckus in Alabama for $2198 and pay tax and tag when I return to Florida or get a Denim Blue Metro for $1998 in Alabama, tax and tag added on return to Florida. No white Ruckus around and none ordered until 2007s come out. GRRRR! Any info on Metro?? Thanks, Wonderdog

I have 2 ruckus' and a metro II. My gf says it easier to ride the ruckus. She looks better on the metro though.

Base the decision pretty much on looks and comfort..mechanically they're pretty much the same. You don't want to get her an 06 Ruckus though because she'll already be faster than you because she's lighter...maybe give her your Ruckus and get an 06 for yourself so you can keep up.

My wife loves her metro, she does not like the look of the ruckus, she is smaller than me so the lower sitting on the metro with lower handlebars suit her better, performance wise since i am 220 and she is 100 lbs, she smokes me off the line in her metro but since i mod the heck out of Katrina i can catch up with Camote (her metro) and if the road is long enought pass her, however going on leisure rides is great and we can ride side by side with no problem, so for my experience going with the metro has being a great idea, and definitivelly if i have to do it again, she would get a metro as she is not that crazy about the industrial look that we love in the ruckus

Can you not go to the dealer and let your wife test drive both and make her own decision? If I could, I'd get my girlfriend a Metro... partially 'cause their cute and girly... and partially because I like being the only one with a Ruckus.

Yeah, I haven't been back there in like a year, at least, but it seemed everyone got a Metro, then traded up to a Vespa or Aprillia or something.
Met's just don't have the lasting appeal of the Ruckus.

Now i remember, it was because Kamino keep boasting about the super cute chicks on the metro site that a bunch of us joined that site, and is true they have some beautiful women there.

If you get a Metro be sure it's a Metro and not a Metro II. The Metro II's only do 25.
