I got another 06 so the Met II has to go. It's fun but @ 34 mph it can't keep up with my camo ruck. Here's the debut pic of "lil' milk truck"

It's nice to see you've got one of each colour for 2006. Is one faster than the other?

The camo is faster because I have a Polini variator installed. I put 69 miles on the white one yesterday so it's officially broken in. One thing that is weird is that I can hear the fuel pump prime on the camo ruck when I turn it on but I hear nothing on the white one.

Is the camo one faster off the line too or just on the top end?
About the fuel pump, when I change my carb jets and the bowl is empty I flick the key on and off about 5x to fill it up. When it's empty it's a lot louder than when it's full and then I can barely hear it. Anyways, this doesn't really explain anything except it says that there is a big range of volumes. Perhaps if your white ruck has more fuel in the tank it's muffling the pumps sound more??

The camo ruck is faster off the line and top speed. I weigh 160 and my gf is 125. I take her off the line and she can't catch up. I was thinking the same thing about the fuel tanks. I filled them both up completely and I still can't hear the white one clicking.

Thx for the info. I wouldn't worry too much about the clicking. It'll probably die down and if not you could always warrentee it. You've got a year to let it iron it self out.

Yeah! i would not worry much about the ticking, due to factory tolerances, some pumps are noisier than others, but they should perform ok ;D ;D Congrats nice garage and those machines look great ;D

Well the white fuel pump now clicks as loud as my camo one. I'm not sure what happened.
