Wow that sucks it's stolen but being covered must be a big relief. I'd love to see some pics of those chopped seats.

Wow! Cool lowered seat mod. How was the angle of your seat? You'll know for sure if you ever spot the theif because he can't change that.

it is very nice. It is alot lower and for a guy 6'4" it's great. And with the pegs it is like riding a big bike....

The pegs are mounted under the floor board and on top of the gas tank. using allthread, pegs, nut/washer and conduit ancors. Use the bolts to hold down the ancors and clear a channel under the floor board of any plastic... very easy and cheap..

The story keeps getting better. I talked to the insurance adjuster and my money was coming on monday may 8th. I'm in bed sunday night and the phone rings at 11pm. It is the sheriff's office and they found my bike in the gehetto. What to do now get the bike and fix it, wonderful! I've got an 8:30 appt with insurance to get my check. So i get up and meet the police and see how bad it is. Well those holigans have no respect for a fine piece of honda engienerring. It was dropped seven ways to tuesday, battery box is missing as well as the battery, air box is missing, numerous scratches, bent brake levers, missing gas cap, mising muffler shield and numerous other problems. So I get home at midnight and tell my wife of the problems and go to bed. I go meet the adjuster and tell him of our delema and he ask me if the damage is as much as the check. Now im no mechanic but i did tell him that it could be close since the radiator is bone dry and there is a fine mist of oil all over the motor. He decides that he will just pay me out and let someone else figure it out. life is good. I now own a white 2006. It is sweeeet. no pics you all have seen and drooled over them before. Oh yeah 44mph on the first day. My boy that took the first one home and had it stolen called me up to tell me that he had been scooter jacked in the french quarter (new Orleans)sunday night. He went to go start it and aa no go. By the time he got a ride home and came back to get it, it was gone.... under 30min Can it get any better, no more rides after work.

Damn.
Congrats on the new Ruck, though... a least there's a small beacon of light in it.
