First ever uploaded image. Another success. Here you see the famous Chanito Windshield. Recommended to all for increased scooter sex appeal. No, its not as clean as it could be. But it runs great! ;D It has a good bit of mileage for a 2004. That's miles, not kilometers. Love this scooter. Room for lots of cosmetic mods! Wonderdog

Your Ruckus looks to be in pretty good shape considering the milage...mine has 28500kms (17,100miles) so I'm barely ahead of you but miles looks a bit more worn out. I've ridden mine all winter and in the rain etc...I even had to store it outside for the winter which is a big part of why I'm getting a new 2006 Ruckus and selling this one. My new Ruckus is gonna be totally babied and I'll be a lot more mods and a lot less commuter miles on it.

Mine looked like crap when I got it. Its been pretty well cleaned up and I'm fortunate to be able to garage it. Its strictly stock except for the collectible, numbered, limited edition, signed Chanito windshield. With my limited knowledge its better off stock right now. Anything goes wrong I can at least follow directions from the manual. That's the theory, but we know what can happen with theories.
I'm curious as to how long this little engine can last with normal servicing and use. Any feedback on that? Mine sure runs good.
Winter is hell on everything. That's why I ran away to Florida years ago. Now, older and fat, I think its time to run away from the heat. Winter is good here, but summer is almost unbearable a lot of the time.

It should go for a heck of a long time...probably 100K easy if it's well maintaned. I've got 30k on mine right now. The only thing that seems to be sketchy with our engines is the crankshaft bearings. A few people have had to replace em.
