Does anyone know it the big ruckus is strong enough to climb the moutains in California?? I love my little Ruckus and ride it everywhere in town. I want a ride to go Hiking i the mountains with

I imagine it would do about as good as any 250 would, depending on how fast you want to go uphill. But, as I haven't driven one on anything more than mile of flat road, I can't say for certain.

Even on the steepest Appalachian climbs the Big Ruckus (Wife used to own one) would run as fast as the "flats".....just take it a little longer to "peak" if you got a straight away. "BIG" difference in the Big Ruckus vs the Ruckus............

Hey chefrn90, from what the dealers tell me, the Big Ruck is made for the woods. So it should do hills with no problem. I would say GO FOR IT!!!! What have you got to lose? Even Scoot magazine says that it's a dirt machine. Let us know how steep it'll go. Mr. Greg

The BR is not a dirt machine. However, it can take hills...just don't expect to be flying on your way up them.
