Well, I did it. I took my BR (affectionately known as "The Growler") on a round trip to a fellow brewer's place 90 miles away to borrow some supplies. I was a bit wary of taking her on the Interstate, so took a nice state highway all the way there and back. Averaged 60-65 mph all the way, got TONS of friendly waves from fellow two-wheeler riders and lots of curious stares ("edit is that thing?!"). As a acid test, I took her WOT on a straight, flat, corn-field dominated stretch, and peaked at 76 mph -- mind you, this was carrying 10kg of malt syrup and my 93kg lard-"edit profanity"! I could see where leg and hand shields or perhaps a windshield would be beneficial, as the trip out was in 16C air temp, and despite my riding jacket and gloves, the wind just made me a bit chilly ;D Anyhow, just wanted to report that I'm as pleased as punch with my BR, and am glad to be a part of this forum and this community.

Glad you like it. I still want one. Still too expensive for me, and I've got my eyes set elsewhere, but I wouldn't mind eventually gettin' one into my stable.
Rawk on.

Here you go! The Growler! (linky)A "growler" is a one-half gallon container of beer-to-go from a brewery, since my LR is named "Half-Pint", it was only fitting that the BR's name reflected a "larger" size, so I picked "The Growler"
