So, I got the new lowered seat from the Battlescooter store. I love it! It changes the center of gravity and the feel of the rucki. It's so cool. But, I do have an issue. How do I get my helmet lock off the stock seat frame? Do I have to buy a new one? Or is the helmet lock a farse? Is there a cool way to secure your helmet to the rucki? Oh, and while I'm on it........I need a lock for my rucki. What ones are good? I live in a not-so-safe area and need a lock even when I go to the grocery store. I don't need one when I go to work. I just ride the rucki right into the store and keep it into the back room.
Anyway, a good lock.....anyone got a good idea for one or combination of a couple of different ones?

Hi, thanks for the business ;D
You drill out the head of the blank screw on the back of the lock. It looks like it has two but it only has one. The black one is part of the lock(like a dowel, for position only). Once you drill the head off you can remove the lock and remove the threaded portion of the screw by hand. The frame should have come with a screw to replace the one you drill out. If you don't want to ever have that screw come out you can use red locktite.

can I just buy a new helmet lock in case I want to put the original seat back on and not go through that process again?

I wouldn't want to put a heavy chain through my chin guard. That wold beat the hell out of my helmet. If I'd go that route, I'd use a smaller U-lock and lock the helmet to my handle bars or something.

Wait, you werent asking for a lock for the Ruckus? I thought you were asking for a lock for Ruckus, not your helmet lol. That last line in your first post confused me...
Any U-lock will work for you helmet.

gotcha I talked to a guy last night that had a vespa. He just U-locked his helmet to his cargo rack. Sounds sensible...
