I need help on what to get.
here is my situation, my cousin is leaving for japan this thursday so i have 2 days to get him some money, photos or whatever information to get me some parts for my ruckus. I'm still a noob after a year and a bit with my ruckus and have only done work cosmetically (headlight guards, knobby tires, foot pegs, brake light). so i was wondering what are your opinions on what I should get, my price range is 200 american, 300 canadian, or 26000 yen. I would like for my ruckus to go a tad bit faster and i have nothing at all no variators , rollers or nothing. shipping is not a problem because he's my little cousin so therefore will do my bidding , muhahahha. any thoughts , comments or help would be great.
thanks guys/gals

hmmm... Yoshimura exhaust system. It's made for the Ruckus and looks very cool. Though it will take care of that budget of yours and probably be a pain to carry home in a suitcase.
Or maybe some nice tires, there's a great selection over there.

The CDI seems to be cheaper at the Battlescooter store. I would get something you can't get at the Battlescooter or at your local bike shop.
However, if you want your bike to go faster, knobby tires isnt the way to go, slicks are. Maybe get some Michelin Boppers or something.

I gotta vote for the Yoshimura exhaust. Abe hasn't been able to import them for the store and they look awesome. You'll have a unique and great looking scoot. Most of the other mods are available in N. America. There's a pic of one on this site somewhere under a thread called 'exhaust' or 'yoshimura exhaust'

Maybe but exhaust hasnt been proven to increase speed or power yet on these 4 strokes. Thats a lot of dough just for looks and sound. If your looking for speed I'd say there are better things to invest your one time money in.

without proper time and balance to the jetting, an exhaust will do little more than slow you down, but thats a good thing if you want people to see your pipe. -Ian

Get stuff we don't sell. Most of our prices are the same as Japanese retail. We have an order in to Yosh. It's just a big joke now, it's been a year. I should call them to see what they say
