An easier fix might be to put some pegs for your feet on your Ruck. There are pics of them in the pics section. They put your feet on the sides and your knees down a bit. It works for me and I'm 6'2". You can go as cheap (bicycle flip up pegs) or as expensive as you want (trick bmx style).

I'm 5-7 & I felt crowded too until I replaced my seat...stock seat gave me Tired Butt syndrome. Now I can streach out cruiser style with no knee crowding. Picture of my 'tractor' seat is on the Tech link on the battlescooter home page. I now have a seat that fits MY seat. Cheap mod too. ;D

I'm impartial to the footpeg idea... Makes for a more exciting ridin' position. ;D

Will, I like to ride "chopper style" as I call it. I'm 6'3" and put my heels against the "up-curve" of the foot rest as if there were pegs up there. It makes like I'm riding my Fat Boy. It's a comfortable position for me. My knees end up being about 10 inches lower than putting my feet flat-foot on the foot rest.

I'm 5'10", maybe 6' with my boots, and I ride like that if I'm on a long stretch of good road, highway or such... but usually I'm on some curvy, pot-hole infested streets, so I tend to ride in a rice-rocket position, feels more alert and ready for anything.

I just installed the pegs about 1/2 hour ago. I took the Ruck for a ride and I love the new position!. It handles sooo much better. Now I just have to get a new shock.

I will post the pics as soon as I can borrow my girlfriends camera. The pegs look pretty sweet. Today will be my first commute to work in the new riding position. I can't wait! I think I might head out to work a little early and take the scenic route.
