One of my best friends was visiting me from California when the first Wisconsin snow fell here. I had a couple of Ruckie in the garage, so we thought what could be better then going for a ride This is my friend, Laura, on my Ruckus. you can see a few of my mods. A couple of pics of me on my friends Ruckus. He just happened to leave his bike, with his keys, in my garage One of Laura's wipeouts. I thought whe was doing donuts on purpose, and i was very impressed with her riding abilities, until she ended up face down in the snow, with my scoot sputtering on it's side. All in all, it was a fun outing. Cold, soaking wet, but alotta fun.

Nice Stuff! I went down doing doughnuts last winter...I bent one of the turnsignal brackets and bent the handlebars a bit. If you're not acting stupid the Ruckus actually rides pretty good in the snow cuz the tires are quite grippy and big plus the center of gravity is nice a low.
I rode all winter last year and what scared me the most was when you are driving full out and there is a strong wind that comes straight from the side. If you lean into the wind to keep going straight it feels like your scoot is gonna slide right out from under you. Other than that it feels pretty good...with the Ruckus's weight distribution favouring the rear heavily the grippy front tire kinda tows the loose rear end around like riding on a crazy carpet behind a snowmobile.

I sure do miss all that wet, cold stuff, the shoveling, chains, window scraping....NOT. Yeah I know Kami, he was a good addition to Lost. Oh, sorry, not that Boone.

You know, I got caught up in Lost for about 3 weeks... then I stopped watching, cause I don't remember what day it was on or something. Oh, well.

Your pictures made me want snow, cuz now I plan to ride in it. I need a windshield when its cold, my old Honda Rebel 450 CHiPs windshield is too big, the handlebars won't turn.

What brand and model windshield is on your Ruckus in the first photo? Is it fastened to the handlebars? Height and width? This looks just like what I am looking for. Thanks

I'll take what I can get... which won't be as much as Boone... I miss getting at least enough snow to not see the top of your foot in, and the kind where you can't see your knee in...

I remember a snow like that... of course, that was because I fell down a hole...

The windscreen is a Slip Streamer CF30. It works great, and is very easy to take off and put back on whenever i want. It can be found at any motorcyle place that deals w/ Slipstreamer, which i think most do. There is a thread on it in aftermarket parts.
