I plan on hacking off the whole rear light assembly but I'm not ready and my tailight lens had a broken screw tube from the first time I put it back on. This is a poor design and will break very easily if your not very carefull. I tried super glue,no luck. To save the $30+ it would cost me to replace a part I'm gonna junk down the road anyway I tried my trusty 5min. epoxy today. [glow=red,2,300]The Problem[/glow] A drop of resin & A drop of hardner mix together A clip nut on one end & a washer on the other pull the pieces together & hold em for the curing time (1hr) Hopefully it won't rattle loose like the super glue did. This is good stuff it dries clear, hard, & fast. It sticks too. ;D 8/15/05 Still holding. Think it's a perm. fix

Phred, if none of your fixes work try to melt the parts back together with a soldering iron, it works most of the time.

phred, i can sell you my stocker i went with an aftermarket cateye light. Thanx for the offer, but I just picked up a double socket oval I'll be moumting under the frame. (I've also got a pair of round led clusters that will fit it.They rotate while running and all flash when the brake is applied. If I ever figure out how to post a video I'll show em here) The epoxy seems to be holding and if it fails me I'll break out the pro black racing (duck) tape. It would cost more to ship it here than I value the lens @ since it's days are definately #ed. ;D
