I posted some pics of my Ruckus on my website, it is completely stock so I am sure you have seen many like them, but I am just excited. I finally just passed 50 miles on the odometer. home.comcast.net/~klone/cars.html

Looking sharp. I wanted a black one but the dealer only had silver camo and I couldn't wait any longer to get mine. I love it though. I added black scuba netting, foam grips, relocated my horn and turn signals, added a front bag, and spray painted 3 stripes on my muffler cover, and a ring on my radiator cover. It's a cheap visual upgrade for the moment. I want to add 6g roller weights to my variator and a windshield and I'll be set. I've had mine for 5 weeks and have 1300 mi on it.

I've had mine for 5 weeks and have 1300 mi on it. Nice to see someone who actually gets out on their ruckus a lot. I put about 1500 miles a month on mine...it's quite a bit of time so you'll really be glad when you get that windscreen. IMO the best looking Ruckus colour is a camo ruckus with the decals removed and a black battery cover box. The flat black is so nice.

Hell, I just saw your cars too. They're awesome. I want a WRX so bad I can taste it. It's just one of those things I haven't been able to justify buying yet. I've got the ruck though! Does anyone know the highest mileage reported around these parts? I'm curious as to how long these scoots will last (w/ care of course). Does anyone seem to have problems w/ their scoot running sluggishly in very cold/hot and humid weather? Mine feels like it has steadily been getting a little slower. Think roller weights and a windshield will do the trick? Has anyone found the best spark plugs to use yet?

Think roller weights and a windshield will do the trick? Has anyone found the best spark plugs to use yet? I've seen ruckus's with over 22,000km (13,000 miles). Personally I'm at about 11,000 miles and no worries so far. Your scoot is likely running a little sluggishly because it needs a tune up. Weather extremes do matter a bit but you said yours has steadily been getting slower so it's likely that it's just the usual suspects like valve shims, tire psi, oil level etc. I don't think anyone has really noticed an improvement with a different plug. The Ruckus is a 4-stroke so the plug doesn't matter as much. The 6g weights and the windscreen would likely cause small but noticable increases in both your accel. and top speed.
