i'm thinking about changing to a synthetic oil and i'm wondering whether i should use motorcycle oil or regular oil... i know there's like a debate going on... but if any of you guys out there have used regular mobil 1 synthetic and works fine let me know.... motorcycle mobil1 oils are so difficult to find.. thanks

Go for the synthetic oil made for cars ;D
The ruckus doesn't have a wet clutch like a motorcycle, so we get to use any car oil. Even the parts guy at the motorcycle dealership agrees.

Good to hear, I was using Mobile One's synthetic motorcycle oil, I'll be switching to the car variety next time. I'm happy that the service intervals are long enough that I didn't end up buying more than 2 quarts of the expensive stuff. In 800 miles, I'll be switching to plain ol' mobile one and my wallet will give praise to false idols.

I agree with Zoomerman - I use Mobile 1 for autos..and feel great about my choice. I am sure my screemin' motor likes it!
