It looks good, but I don't know if I could live without a nice flat surface...

It's hard to say. I installed the new chrome shock at the same time. If it's any consollation, it rides amazingly now.

How hard is that thing to install? I been wanting one, except I'm poor at the moment.
Keep in mind, I'm not very mechanically inclined...

If you can turn a socket wrench, you can install it. On a scale of 1-10....1 being easy and 10 being hard......This is a 3. It takes about 10 minutes at the most.

Well, I did buy some socket wrenches, earlier today... now if only I had enough money to purchase the thing itself...
I'm eyeing flash cards for my digital cameras, though, that's 200 bucks right there... I need to win the lottery!

Hey CTruckus, can you send me a high rez version of that first pic? (dandurston@hotmail.com) I've always wanted the no peg racing brace but I didn't like how the gas tank looked. Now that they've got that gas tank cover for sale I may be interested. I just wanna see how it looks but it's kinda hard to tell in the pic cuz it's a bit dark and not that high rez.
Which set of pegs do you primarily use? The front ones seem a bit close.

couple of questions,
1. did you take off all the plastic supports off? (like under the gas tank , sides etc?
2. is that a bad thing?
I ordered the gas cover from battlescooter and if it looks anything like the one you got then that's awesome.
thanks

I'm pretty sure he just took the floorboard off. I think there's only one other piece you might take off which is the lower side of the floorboard. If you don't remove it things look a tad unfinished around the edges and at the front but if you do remove you have a really skinny looking neck and wires showing more at the front. I wish there was a cover that covered the whole floor.

It's a pretty simple piece. I removed the floorboard. Then I put the gas tank cover on. It looks pretty flimbsy. But once you get it on, it's okay. Then I put the brace on over that. If you want, I'll take close up pics of it next time it's sunny around here.
