Wasn't there a post on here about putting a small turbo on a ruckus? I wonder what a small turbo would do to our scooters.

I am a former Quality Manager for a Turbo Mfg., and was originally a Design Engineer in the Automotive Industry, so I can speak to your question. The smallest Turbo my former company makes is for a 800cc 2 cylinder Diesel that goes into the SmartCar in Europe. It is far too large for a 50cc motor as in the Ruckus. It is possible there are some smaller ones out there, in some other applications (maybe Japanese Garden Tractors?), but the smallest motorcycle Turbo I am aware of was on the 80's Honda CX500 V-Twin, and it would still be way too big! Wasn't there a post on here about putting a small turbo on a ruckus? I wonder what a small turbo would do to our scooters. |
