EDIT: Bah! Yahoo won't let me link directly to each individual pic. Just go to briefcase.yahoo.com/homestarruckus and you will see the pix that went with this first post. Stickers aside, I only have three mods. The first was to add a small steel (18 gauge) cage under the seat and zip-tied it on. The second mod I did was to take a small, plastic toolbox and attach it to the front rack above the headlights. The last mod (which I literally did yesterday) was to add a set of large-diameter (about 2") foot pegs. I don't know why I waited to put the pegs on. It completely changes my riding options and really improves the riding comfort of the Homestar Ruckus. Cheers! h*r

Expanded metal cage w/edge trim looks very nice and the box mounted on the front carrier is a great idea.

Three things...
Number 1: Readin' your sig, you call the Ruckus a Moped. Don't do that, it gets angry.
Number 2: Lookin' at your Ruckus, for some reason, I hear the Strong Badia Nathional Anthem... it brought a tear to my eye...
Number 3: Lookin' at the toolbox on the front, for some reason, I thought of Johnny Five... weird. I guess since he mounted a toolbox on his shoulder, who knows...
Anyway, nice. I like the red Ruckii...

Number 1: Readin' your sig, you call the Ruckus a Moped. Don't do that, it gets angry. Fixed. Didn't realize it was a problem. My Ruckus knows that most people are idiots and when I say "scooter" to them, they imagine these skateboard-with-handlebars things that kids play with. So he forgives me when I call him a moped. I can see that, but I just wanted a place to throw an extra pair of glasses or gloves and none of the nylon zip bags looked right on it. Besides, I can take comfort in knowing that my Ruckus could kick Johnny 5's a**. h*r

the under seat storage looks great. The tool box isn't sexy but gives it a utilitarian look which is really cool.

Your avatar is reminds me of the dude from the video game Pitfall. That is a blast from the past. I am really showing my age.

what type of mesh is that under the seat? looks like it would be easier to use than the net stuff i found at the local craft store.

whats u'r affiliation w/it homestar r_u_c_k_u_s? Nothing specific. Just a fan. I've been visiting that site for probably three years now. I own a ton of merch from them. They don't have advertisers so the merch is the only way they make money (aside from their day jobs).

Pitfall? old apple II+ game? Actually, it is an Activision game originally released for the Atari 2600. I own one of them still and play mostly retro games. I even bought a cart for my GameBoy Advance SP that has like 50 old Atari 2600 games on it... including Pitfall.

I'm envious... my 2600 is lacking a power cord... Oh, well, I'm content with my Super Nintendo for now (I never did beat Link to the Past).

Oh, well, I'm content with my Super Nintendo for now (I never did beat Link to the Past). here's one for ya: i remember my dad wiring up a 2600 or whatever the atari was with a keyboard(maybe an 800?) to a radio shack armatron robotic arm thing and programming basic programs for it to pick up stuff and move it. that was cool. oh yeah and his 400 baud modem i really wish i'd payed more attention to that than building forts and listening to dj jazzy jeff when i was a kid
