What do you get when you have a cold Wisconsin winter, a Ruckus in a warm basement and throw in a couple of cases of beer for inspiration? Answer: Ruckus "Woody" Edition Has flip up foot pegs and locking felt lined front storage for sun glasses. Back panel pops off (velcroed) for storage of long items. Everything has a coat polyurethane to make it all weather resistant. Thinking about wood beauty rings for the rims, but I'm concerned about wheel balance. Questions, Comments, criticism welcome

Holy! Wow ! That's impressive, I like the detail on the foot-board and the wooden pegs. One of a kind, nice work! Send these pics to Abe @ battlescooter.com I'm sure he'd post at least one. Neat

Nice wet bar! I mean, the scoot. Meh. I have to admit, my mind is blown. Excellent work. The only thing I can think of is to get the frame and black plastic detailed to look like wood also. ;D
Need some good single malt scotch back there as well.

Sweet! Are those Honda wing emblems made from wood also..?

The wings are 1/4" oak plywood cut with a band saw and touched up with a dremel, they took about 10 min to make. I've learned that building is 5% talent and 95% tools.

I think the only thing left to do is to cut out the black plastic fins on the rad cover and replace them with some wood ones. Thats bloody great!

I'm glad that I'm not the only person that starts to dream up ideas while your scooter is just chillin' in the basement.

I built the bar last year. If your too busy to get out to the bars, bring the bar home. Makes for an easier way home to my bed, hardest part is getting up the stairs.

Very nice stuff. I love how it's so original...no one in the world has a Ruckus like yours.
If you really get bored you should chisle (sp?) out the whole front cover from a single piece of oak and slap that on. I'd be so impressed!
