If all goes well, I will be posting some new pictures of my latest mods along with my shop. I still haven't bought a new shock or some diff. roller weights, soon, I've been super busy. Hopefully, I will have some pics later tonight...

Sweet mods brutha, did you repaint the frame with matt black paint after relocating the turn signals? Cause it looks dope!

The mods look great. I also noticed the matte black frame as well. That looks very cool. Did you repaint that frame?

Yeah, I had to repaint that whole bracket because I had to grind all the welds off. I also removed the bracket that held the horn in place. Glad you guys like it. Like I said before, I just need a place to mount my speedo now. I should just get the veypor because that would obviously be way more convienient and easy to mount. The thing with the speedo is you have the thick cable coming out the back of it so you are limited to where you could mount it. If you notice in the second picture, I still haven't pluged the hole in the steering column. I had the turn signal indicator in that hole and added onto the wires and ran them down the column and up into the box but mangaged to brake the light while getting it in there. That would have been a nice spot for it although, it's a tight squeeze.

You repainted the frame? Did you have to take the whole bike apart and if so how big was that job? The reason I ask is i want to repaint mine.

No No No, not the frame, the frame on the camo ruckus already is matte black. But the headlight bracket had to be repainted. That is the only thing I painted, the headlight bracket.

Ruckass, you bring up a good point. I have been thinking of repainting my whole Ruckus frame because the guy who stole mine spray painted on it. Does anyone know if I would have to take the whole scooter apart? I really want to avoid doing that, but I am not sure if that is the only way to go. I would like to just stick with taking the off floor board and the plastic plate under the seat to try to paint the frame.

I'm quite sure you would have to take most of it apart as you would need to aim a spray gun at the inside part of some frame parts and the motor etc would be in the way. Besides, it would be so much easier to just hang the frame pieces in a shop and spray them that way.
What colour are you thinking? I'm actually thinking white or silver.

I agree, take it apart. If you're going to do it, do it the right way. It will turn out much better if you take the motor out.

I was thinking about painting my ruckus matte army green. I love the army green zoomer from Japan, so I want to make myself one. I believe the army green zoomer from japan has a glossy finish, but I prefer matte because it looks more functional. Also, the matte army green along with the black tires and trim of the Ruckus would make it look really bad "edit profanity". The guy who stole my scooter messed up the paint job anyway, so I don't have a whole lot to lose.

Make it into a rat bike! Mask off everything important then rattle can it! Seriously, get it bead-blasted then professionally painted. Olive green is pretty sweet. Are you going to try and get ahold of some new plastic up front or would you paint that too?

I want to paint the plastic up front. I would like to take it apart, get it bead blasted and painted. BUT I am not sure if can afford to get it professionally painted. Even rattle canning it would make it look better the way it looks right now.

You should ask around first. The frame wouldn't be much work for an automotive painter. You could probably get it all done for a couple hundred at most.

I'm a huge fan of the bead blaster. It's like you're buying OEM parts. It makes old, dirty, rusty metal look brand new.
