All relaxed after dodging deer in Southern Illinois. Hunters please come, there are THOUSANDS and they are a menace!! This bambi got so tired running fom my Goldwing had to take a break

So what was the final SqUiRmInAtOr hit count on this road trip Z E R O Read your sposter/deer link the day I got back and prayed "Thank You Lord". Near misses on a racoon and a snake.(snakes tend to flip up and bite & they leave a nasty mark @ best. Copperheads are plentiful.) Only one dear was actually standing in the road but I was crawling @10mph close to our cottage and stopped for him to move. Just like the dude with the sportster we easily passed 100 dear standing right next to the road. I bought dear whistles and mounted them under my mirrors and at least got a glance from them. The roads down there are smooth as glass with BIG hills and lots of winding. Just can't ride too fast or you might split a deer in 2. I'll be hunting safer prey now that I'm back in suburbia.

I would love to hunt Southern Il. But out of state licences have become crazy over the last 10 years.
