Got mine today! Haven't had a chance to take a look at it yet but I did buy some semi-gloss black paint to paint the bolts/nuts for the complete black look. I'm surprised how fast it got here. Chanito mailed it Wed. night last week and I got it this Thurs. so that's 5 business days. Usually stuff from the US takes way longer than quoted. I had a UPS parcel take 2 1/2 wks last month and it was supposed to be 3/4 days. It sat in Los Angeles for 6 days.

I got it on today. Looks good! The install to me a bit longer than expected cuz it took a while to pick the coating off the inside as the heat gun kinda melted it on there pretty good. Also, I had a bit of a hard time with the lower mounts using the brake line clips. It's a great design but my holes in the screen were a tick high so I couldn't get the bolt to just go through and line up on the back. I really had to force it in. Anyways, it all worked out and it's on there good now. It's a noticably different ride with the screen. You actually feel like you are going slower because there is less wind hitting you and less noise. It is definately more comfortable. Speed wise it is about 2 mph faster (sitting or tucking). When I sit up I normally cruise at about 44-45mph and can get up to 46-47 on a long straight. In a tuck with the head and arms tucked behind the windscreen I cruise at about 46mph and can get to 50mph in a long enough straight. I'll post re. fuel economy in a week or so when I averaged 3 tanks.

;D Thank you for the feedback, i will pre-bent those clips and make them right or left so it will be easier to install, also i used to stick foam on the brackets and washers, but i wil include neoprene washers instead

I'm still waiting but that's normal in my town. It usually takes a few extra days to get to Erin than to anywhere else in Southern Ontario. I don't know why? Plus I've got the ruck all in pieces right know so I'm not going to put it on until I'm putting it all back together. Oh and one other thing Dan...

Way to follow through Chanito! ;D Sorry I dropped of the face of the earth for a while. I went down that weekend so many weeks ago to check out my polymere (sp) guy only to find that they were closed up. I'm still kickin though; got the ruck up over 800 miles since I bought it in April, and life couldn't be better. I'll check back in a while once things got more settled and try and add my name to the list for a bronze shield. Thanks for your hard work.

Have you notice any improvement with the windshield? ;D It appears to be worth 1-2 mph both on the flat and downhill, compared to my broadside of a barn profile without a shield. I had a stock Honda Reflex windshield mounted prior and lost 2 mph, so your theory about the size, and pentration of the air vs. drag is certainly in the right direction. I'd like to test one about 10-20% larger in total frontal area, probably evenly distributed. If I find one, I'll test it one my wife's Ruckus. I put a Memphis Shades Alleycat on my Wino Vino 125, and it helped top speed, but created more head buffeting than I care for. Still experimenting. My Reflex has an extra tall Givi windshield on it, and will do 85 on the Interstate now (only 80 before). It appears to be quite aerodynamic.
