I like the smoke better. Is that vaccum-formed or hand-formed ? I think a putting "RUCKUS" on the windsheild with sandblasted letters would look sweet and give it a factory look. Is a mirrored finish next?
I like the yellow, too. By the way. I might get a yellow box for my black ruck.

8-)Thanks Robo, but i do not have the equipment to do vacuum molding, and i think a bronze color would look better on yellow, the problem is that getting only one is very expensive so i have to get at least ten in order to be within prize range, so i got ten smoke windshield i have to sell in order to make some other colors if there is a demand

That's the perfect color! Especially for a black ruckus.

You just need wood and a strong shopvac. Where I did my internship, at this plastic shop, they had tons of plastic samples and stuff. There was one rep that would come in with samples of reflective coatings.

Well you were a lucky intern indeed, lexan would required longer to warm up to get to working softness (or whatever), and the thicness is 0.125 of an inch but thanks anyway, i might try to make one mold and experiment

:)Here is how the Chanito Motorsports smokin' grey windshield looks on a red Ruckus. Mighty fine!!! Preliminary results from the [glow=red,2,300]Jet Research and Performance Lab[/glow] testing are as follows: Aerodynamic: Frontal Area, bike and rider = .89 hectare (- 90%) Coefficient of Drag, bike and rider = .27 (- brick wall) Performance:Top Speed = 48mph downhill, tucked as much as I'm able to Acceleration = 32'/second/second (as if riding off building) Fuel Economy - Not calculated, as appears to be self-perpetuating, level not changing

How did you calculate the drag co-efficient? I'm assuming you just made it up but if you actually calculated it that would be really cool.

There is the possibility that the windsock and sundial used are out of calibration, as they are quite old.
