I took the plastic off at the start of the rainy season here in seattle, and have rode it 6 days a week non stop since, been through some pretty rough ones, but have yet to encounter any problems witht he tank being exposed. I really liked the look of the cage, the floor bed is a huge peice of plastic, and the less plastic the better in my opinion. Cool skelly, tell me how things go, as stated in the thread be careful with the bumps on the bar if there are any, and make sure to shim the stem correctly, it can be a real hazard, so watch yourself. P.S. how did you mount the LCD lgihts on the tail of your bike? i'm thinking of doing that mod myself. -Ian

I drilled two holes for the controls. They seem to be fine where they are... No moving them now haha
One issue I have is mounting the speedo... And I pulled out the temp light outta speedo... OOPS! Its not going back in either lol I found another LED which I am going to mount by the high beam light along with the signal indicator.
And that tail light set up is no good. I found out afterwards it hits the rear fender! GAH! So I will be figuring out something else in the nest week or so... I will keep you updated.
