I noticed they are not listed on the site anymore. Why is that? I was thinking of getting on at some point. Are they still available? Thanx.

We stopped offering them because we have an order in for months and still no product. We hope to work it out but who knows. We do have a similar exhaust coming out later in the year.
When our Yosh order comes in we will offer them again.

Well i've completed steps 1(drive unit) ,2 (air box ) and 4 (cdi) on the battlescooter 'make your ruckus sing' list but i haven't gotten to step 3 yet (exhaust). Step 3 is a lot of $$$ so i'm wondering if its more of an apperance/sound mod or will i actually notice a performance boost? Can anyone with an aftermarket exhaust vouch for a performance boost? Or does it just feel faster cuz its louder?

Isn't it already pretty loud with an open airbox? That little beast roars now. A new exhaust would seem to (from what I can hear from other scooters with fancy pipes) raise the pitch and make it really clear that explosions are occuring instead of emitting a gentle rumble from the stock exhuast.
I'm having the same questions about the new exhaust. Still working on step 2, but may eventually go to 3 if it proves to offer any true benefits and not just acoustic masturbation.

personally i love the acoustic masturbation, growing up in hawaii, i'm a big fan of the loud "edit profanity" 2-stroke chamber. That is the thing i miss the most in seattle... -Ian

I live about 40 ft. from Kapi'olani and I hear that crap buzzing up and down the street all day and night. It really does annoy the hell out of me. Its a bunch of 50cc blenders running at high speed. If you dig it, more power to ya...and you probably won't get run over as often with pipes that loud

I looked at Yoshimura's web-site today and couldn't find the pipe that would go on a ruckus, so I wrote them an email... Hi, Do you make an exhaust system for the 2004 NPS50, Honda Ruckus/Zoomer Scooter ? reply: I would personally like to thank you for choosing Yoshimura products. No we do not make an exhaust for that bike. If you have further questions please call me. Justin Willis jwillis@yoshimura-rd.com 909 628 4722 ext. 409 Yoshimura R and D of America that's odd

That's funny But I'm happy to hear it because that means we are not getting ours because Yosh is a ghost ship.

Yeah, that's a Yosh pipe alright, and after looking at Yoshimura's Japanese website, they do carry them. I guess the US part of Yoshimura doesn't know or care what the Japanese part is making, or that rep knew how tough it is to get them over here and he didn't want to get my hopes up.

Yosh Japan makes you deal with Yosh US. Yosh US orders the exhausts from Yosh Japan for retailers and consumers. The problem is that we ordered these things ages ago and still no word. A dealer was told by Yosh to get them from US because we ordered them but the problem is we are still waiting and waiting, and waiting and waiting. One day we will have some.
