I want to replace the front turn signal lamps on my ruckus to clear lenses with amber bulbs. The stock lamps are 1073 12V 23W clear. I work at a dealership. I can get the clear lenses, but I haven't been able to find amber 1073 bulbs. Does anyone know if using a 1156NA 12V 27W bulb would cause problems? Thanks.

I got my answer. I asked one of the techs at work. He said that since the 1156 bulb only draws 0.3 amps more than the stock 1073 bulb it shouldn't present any problems to the electrical system.

I installed my new clear front marker lenses and amber bulbs today. They look great. I reccommend this mod for anyone looking to add a little inexpensive bling to their scoot.
BTW, I bought mine through work. However, the Battlescooter store offers a similar kit at a Great price. Even with my company discount about all I saved was the shipping charge.
