I used a piece of angle iron, cut it, bent it , and welded to build a bracket for foot pegs. You gotta go buy longer bolts that are used to hold the floorboard down. I just used some bmx footpegs and put griptape on them. They can easily be unbolted to use some different bmx pegs. Its so much nicer riding with my feet out in front like they do on the iron bikes. Also put a cupholder on the handlebars with cable ties. and I bungied that backpack like they used on the movie fast and the furious on the front rack. makes a good console. Check the pics out. www.itswiggins.com/pics/ruckusmods.html (not sure if the link worked, its www.itswiggins.com/pics/ruckusmods.html )tell me what you think, if u have any other ideas , or whatever.. im goin to go ride alot down in outer banks, NC this weekend, should be fun. anyone wanna cruise in hampton roads, im all around norfolk and va beach this summer.

I already did the footpegs but mine are located on the back of the floorboard so a passenger can use them also and I can put my feet on the floorboard if I carry a passenger.
Yes it is really nice. Its more like riding a motorcycle and for my improves handling quite a lot considering I am 6'2" and my knees are like an inch from the handlebars when on the floorboard.
I didn't have to use a bracket I used the two large holes that are already in the frame around the gas tank an used a large washer with a little hole and bolted it on with 2 nylon threaded bolts so it won't come loose.
They rock.
;D

Ah footpegs! I always wanted to cruise in a position where it didn't look like I was delivering Chinese food . I have so many projects going on right now, I'll get to it sooner or later. I will probably go with aluminum (lite weight) bike pegs and make them detachable. Well done. The weight limit of the Ruckus is 220 Lbs. as per the manual. I tip in at 6" 198 and probably 230 with backpack, chain, and other useless stuff. I have bottomed the rear suspension out a number of times. You are probably over 300 with two people? The rear coil over looks small and I would suspect the upper mount might snap at some point. I'm sure some universal coil overs with adjustable compression and heavier spring might be fairly easy to adapt. Yet again another project...
