Newbie here . Just got a 07 blk. Ruckus about 3 1/2 mths ago. Love it to pieces. Ride it about everywhere I go, regardless if my wife & little girl goes. They'll drive the car & of course I'll follow on the scoot. Takes a few xtra mins, but alot funner. Looking for simple upgrades, not for speed but just to run better & longer. Get some  up here soon but don't have a personal computer just using one at work, but I will post as soon as I'm able. Looking forward to talking to everyone. ;D |

Newbie here . Looking for simple upgrades, not for speed but just to run better & longer. ;D If you want it to run longer I would take a look at your air intake. I pulled the air filter cover on ours today and was amazed at how much dust had bypassed the filter. I am working on a fix but won't know how it is going to work for a day or so..... got to let the experiment cure a bit. I will post back with the results. zufmieser  |

Not very mechanically inclined. What is that & what does it do or affect? Basically, the aftermarket variator gears you taller on the top end, so as long as you have the power then you'll be able to go a little faster. The weights control the upshifting so lighter weights equal higher revs as you accelerate. |

Sorry it took so long Kami, but as far as I know theres only one Wilson in NC & its kinda in between both mtns & coast.

Mapquest says there's one near Asheville and one east of Raleigh. I assume your at the one in Wilson County...

We're only about 25 or 30 mins from Raleigh & around 3 or 4 hrs or more from Ashville, but yeah I stay in Wilson County.
