Alright cast your ballots people...the new look is very tenative and can easily be changed by your votes. I think it is possible for you to choose to use the old 'skin' if you want. I think you just need to go to preferences or something and choose your skin. I like this smiley ->  |

I really like the concept of the background...I wonder how it would look in black and white? It also might be cool if the Ruckus's were a little smaller but that's just being picky. I agree that the foreground needs work. I like the red but the brown is kinda nasty. I'll try a few other colours instead of the brown.

I tried red/yellow and it was nasty, then red/blue and it was nasty, now I've got red/grey and I think it looks a lot better.

I still want to tweak the wallpaper, I'm not completely satisfied with the uniformity of it... and yeah, I think smaller might work better, too... I'll try to play with it some, tonight.

"Ruckus Central :: General :: Speak Freely :: Post Message" I know what you mean...it was a problem before and it's still a problem now but it's kinda hard to fix because in the settings you need to choose one font colour for all the text on this site and black is the obvious choice. Because of that the only way to get it so you can see that is by making the background light. I think it's a little better now that it was before but spacing the Ruckus's out a bit more would help futher. Also, the fixed background enables you to move it so the black text is positioned over just white so it's readable but that's likely more hassle than anyones willing to go through. One idea is to space the Ruckus's out and then not only covert it to black and white but also fade the Ruckus's a bit so they are mostly grey and washed out so you can still read the text over them. Kinda like a watermark. |

Thanks for changing it to this one, the old was drab, I always thought. The nightscape pic was cool though. Thanks 4 putting & keeping it up regardless.
