Okay, here in AZ it's gonna be in the low 70's for awhile (but sunny), low 50's at night. Since I come home after dark (we don't celibrate daylight savings in AZ)and the temp drops pretty fast I wear a hooded sweatshirt and some long pants for the ride home. I have to find my gloves sometime, since my hands are pretty much frozen by the time I get home. My point is, and I do have one, I grew up in SW Wisconsin right next to Lake Michigan, moved to Central IL, moved to the Panhandle of Idaho before coming down here. I wore a heavy jacket very few times being acclamated to the cold for so long, but now I get cold down here in 50 degree weather. I guess after that 100-120 degree summer we just had, no more acclamation. Now where can I get a leather jacket?....

Last I heard it was snowing in Boone... I'm driving up there tonight, unfortunately, Ryokoless... but Rubie likes the snow... nay, loves it.

-8 C (maybe 19 F?) going while driving to work for an hour this morning. Luckily there was a tailwind but there won't be on the way home.

How those boppers doing in the winter type conditions?

Awful! They have no grip. Well they are ok on bare frozen pavement but if there's any snow it's lethal. The stock kenda's were fun in the snow but the Boppers are just stupid and dangerous. I've got a bus pass so I can take that on days when there's snow. If you are on even like a 2% slope you're gonna need to hop off it and maybe even push it to get started.

Is the tread deep enough to stud them? Studs are great on ice and frozen snow.

Snowing again. One chanel says 2-3" the other says 6-8". Guess I will see in the morning.

Bah, I didn't ride to work the other day 'cause it was supposed to be icy. Bleh.
The only ice was on my Rubie and the grass... the roads were all fine. It was just like a light drizzle, I was angry.

I drove to Boone last night, after work, and spent two hours up there... and I got to drive in the snow. It wasn't much, but I take what I get.

We just had a lot of ice, and the power was out most of yesterday... roads weren't bad, at least, major roads, don't know about others. Lots of trees bending and falling... another waste of precip, could've been snow.

I hate ice unless it is being used to keep my beer cold.

Ice is good in amounts. I'm not much of a drinker, but I like my stuff neat.
