Hey I know all you guys have probably got a million spam emails saying get your free ipods but it's not all based on lies. A few months ago I successfully got a free iPod shuffle and now a friend of mine has gotten one of the new super sweet iPod Nano's which has inspired me to pursue one as well.
All the junk emails basically tell you you need 5 friends to visit a certain link and then you'll get one. This is a rip off of how things really work and takes out the catch. To actually get one of the iPods you need to sign up on the website and then sign up for a trial offer from a number of reputable companies such as Colombia House, World Poker Tour online poker, Canadian Tire etc. The specific offers do cost money. The Columbia House one is 5 DVDS for 2.50$ plus shipping/handling, the Poker one requires you to buy in with 50$ cash at their online site and the Canadian Tire one is the best, you are signing up for a shopping group (Sears, HBC, Zellars etc) membership which includes a discount card that saves you a lot but it costs 18$ a month for the membership. This one is the best because the first month is just 1$ and you can cancel anytime (although you have to wait a few days for it to go through) plus you get a 25$ Canadian Tire gift certificate card for as a sign up bonus.
These offers are the ones that were available to me but the site determines which offers you are offered depending on your demographic (age, sex etc) and location. Because I'm young male in Canada I got offers about Poker, Canadian Tire and DVD's but a Texas girl would have much different ones.
Anyways, all I'm saying is that to get the free iPod you need to sign up for one of these which costs as little as 1$ (and you get the 25$ gift cert.) and then get 5 other people to also sign up on the iPod site and for one of the referals.
As you can see this is not a scam because it's not really free but rather they are hoping you will like the offers you've signed up for or will forget to cancel them and thus they'll make some money. It's not a free easy breeze like the fake scams make it out to be. The intent of those ones is just to get as many email addresses as they can so they can spam you.
Anyways, I've signed up and signed up for the Cdn. tire offer and now I'm working on my referals so if any of you guys are interested in this very legit offer I hope you'll give it a shot. I promise you I know someone who has actually gotten the free iPod. Best of all, you are allowed to choose from a varity of iPods including Nano's, mini's, video ones and regular ones in a variety of colours. I'm gonna get the Black Nano cuz they are super sweet. They look something like this:
I encourage you guys to check this offer out cuz it's a nice deal if you can remember to cancel or perhaps you'll genuinely like the offer and stay with it. Click on the link below to give me one referal and to get yourself started:

The actual website itself is a well done website complete with a FAQ section and support. You guys can check that out before you sign up if you want if you have any questions. However if you are going to sign up please use the link above or below because it would be a shame to give no one credit for your signing up.
