new dukes of hazard movie: opinion?

is this going to be worse than the coy and vance hazzard days? i keep seeing trailers for this movie. burt reynolds-THE BANDIT- is now boss hogg? "edit profanity"? johnny knoxville and stifler? ahhhh ok willie nelson as uncle jessie,thats ok casting i guess, but im not even going to get into how much sexier catherine bach was than jesssica simpson could ever be: they should have at least destroyed some of these new fury chargers instead of some more 69's. is that a yj daisy's driving?
is anyone else offended by the thought of the bad casting in this movie? oh yeah i heard a rumor the simpson idiot is going to be getting bo derek's part in a 10's remake. that might be a worse fate than hazzard. is that skinny guy from "road trip" gonna play dudley moore's part? im never watching tv again.

I've gotta disagree, from what I've seen on the trailer I think it looks very cool. Though I do feel bad about them wrecking a bunch more rare chargers.

I'm sorry, but I don't remember Bo and Luke being bumbling morons. And watching the trailer, that's what it looks like it's gonna do, take those two guys who play bumbling morons, and let them play bumbling morons. I still think Danny DeVito should have played Boss Hogg... sure, he ain't southern, but he's got the build, and he can get crazy.

It's a sad state of affairs, I think. Real sad. They won't get my seven-fifty.

Okay, months later, can you say that movie was good. I think all you people saying it looked good were obviously not fans of the Dukes of Hazzard.

And, holy hell, Cathy Bach is still hotter than Jessica Simpson. Seriously.
