The new updates to the forum are pretty good but one feature that is missing is the email notification we used to get. Is the Bookmark feature suppose to be that, and it's just not working right now? Inquiring mind want to know! Thanks guys.

No, not yet. I guess it is a work in progress. I have a hard enough time keeping my home computer up and running, I couldn't imagine figuring out the code for a forum like this!

I am afraid that the email feature is no longer with us.. I'll inquire with the coders of the board. However, the bookmark feature does work. If you add it as a bookmark, you can then go to your "Profile" and under your profile window there will be a link to your bookmarks.

Wain, don't thank me as I had no idea where the bookmarks were. As far as replacing the email notification with this list that you have to search in it's entirety to see if there's any replies. This is not an update as far as I am concerned, this part of the update sux. tedsmini

It really sucks that with the update, that feature disappeared. If it wasn't so much work I'd recode the board in PHP (the features that would be addable would be endless since the code would be totally custom) and build small, dedicated Dual Pentium III or XEON webserver for the site.
Money is what restricts everything though! I'm not complaining because this site is pretty much totally free to run how it is setup at the moment.

PHPBB would be nice, but I cannot get Proboards to give me a "forum dump" (all the code from the current site regarding threads, etc) Therefore, we would pretty much have to start all over. Members would have to re-sign up, all current threads/posts would be gone, etc.
If the gains outweighed the losses we would switch.
